So: would you pocket the $15K difference and drive the Haval? Or do you go for the traditional brand?

Totally biased review towards Nissan, since beginning of the video presenters mood and choice of words quite visible for H6. Anyway people’s opinions and feedback matters.

Pretty clear from the outset that you aren't a fan of the Haval

Correct me if I am wrong but I understood the Nissan E-Power did not have a battery, Electric drive yes but no battery. The review does seem biased towards the Nissan though, example no spare in the H6 but no mention of a spare in the Nissan. Does the Nissan have a spare?

No midsize SUV should be $73k, period. Especially Nissan that isn't a luxury brand. How a car feels for tou is a personal thing, but the X-Trail hybrid isn't $18k better than this H6. In fact it isn't better at wll. After having two X-Trails with failed CVT transmissions the wife bought the H6 Lux and honestly, good as any x-trail on the market. Also, the hybrid system in the X-Trail is a generator and the H6 has a proper hybrid system that will function as a regular car, should anything happen to the electronic components. Not the case with the Nissan, is it?

Haval H6.... My choice for sure. Today booked one for my family.
So much offered with less spending
7 yrs warranty, heads display, Panoramic SR, Auto Parking and much much We had X-Ttail before this car, and it wasn't worth money. HAVAL H6 has edge over all its

I think Haval should make a 4WD H6 HEV.

At this point in time I would take the H6 & save the $15, 000. it’s a family SUV & right now most families could use an extra $15k.
This is a less expensive alternative please keep that in mind when you review. Stop trying to make it into to something that it is never going to be. Does it do anything that I want in a family SUV yes it does. I would much rather you make an acute comparison that focuses on more family stuff. Wood grain trim etc does nothing for me. I want to know if it will stand up to family life.
Also I am a mechanic by trade & these capped price servicing plans are absolute BS you never end up paying what is quoted in your reviews. This is from personal experiences. For example if you need brakes or a fluid flush they charge you extra. Yet this is never mentioned in any reviews. Not all plans are equal they do Not included everything.

$67.7k is insane for a xtrail. You can get a CX5 GT high spec turbo for $51k or less. Or Rav4 hybrid if you can wait for 12-24 mths.

I still can't make up my mind whether a petrol-powered EV is engineering genius, or complete definitely eliminates range anxiety (especially important in a country like Australia where people *think* they need a car that can cross the Nullarbor on a whim....) but it's still pumping out tailpipe emissions with every kilometer. Even if <6L is pretty impressive for a family sized SUV.

Ive had my 2023 X-Trail Ti 2.5L petrol for 3 months, 10/10 would recomend. I've been getting 5.5L/100kms on the highway (Using Eco Mode and Pro-Pilot) which is amazing for a petrol SUV. Super premium inside, only payed $47K because it was a demo model. If you're tight on money I would go for this spec of X-Trail, there really isn't many down sides to it and I personaly dont think its worth paying $5k extra for the E-Power unit or spending the extra on going for the Ti-L unless you want the tan interior. The CVT is also surprisingly smooth, it doesnt bother me one bit. It's also a bonus that the regular version only needs 91ron petrol, so I would just buy a regular X-Trail

Haval H6 Hybrid would be my pick. As for piano black, i love it. Wash your hands. My 6 year old VW Touareg has piono black, no scrantches yet.

Well I see you are very unfair to you viewers by comparing an upgraded nissan x trail to a basic entry level Haval H6 so you can to my understanding promote Nissan and demote the Haval brand, if you car reviews like you are not being fair, so I would rather save the 15k and go for the h6

Haval H6 é muito bom! Um dos melhores custo-benefício que existe no mercado automobilístico.
