answer: Poorly. They even screwed up the emergency shut down procedures

Wow if the Saturn V engineers had known what NASA would be doing half a century later...

SpaceX should have been a partner on this project !

15 years of development and they couldn't even get the "rocket" to fire it's 4 engines for more than a minute and a half. This is truly embarrassing. How are they even going to be able to launch THIS year?

I have been waiting for Artemis 1 since 2016, and from what I’ve been through, I have to say that those five years were worth it!

Fun fact:

RS-25 exhaust is actually 2h2+o2-->2h2o
And the sounds suppression system is using water
So nasa is using water suppress water
Interesting

It's great to see a rusted piece of hardware that was developed in the 1960s (to be tested to fly) again. /sarcasm

The SSMEs are some of the most complicated pieces of engineering ever created, which is cool. However, engineers can do better now. This is an expensive piece of hardware that has already been superseded by Falcon Heavy.

I would love to see more of the Federal budget to go to NASA, but this project has been overly expensive.

Can't wait. Hope there are many cameras around the launch pad and on the rocket.
Go Artemis I, go.

Oh boy... Look what happened. I can’t say I’m surprised to be honest, but it sure is disappointing. I wish they would’ve just gone fully with the commercial program. If Starship had the funding SLS has, it would already be flying.

Maybe they need to fire the guy who sets the clocks at Boeing ... (Starliner test anyone).

"As the Musk Mars Megacity celebrates it's 10th anniversary, Nasa announces the first test launch of SLS to earth orbit will be coming in the next 5 years."
