NASA Announces Artemis 2 Astronauts!

NASA just announced the four astronauts that will fly by the Moon next year, as part of its Artemis 2 mission. This crew consists of American astronauts Christina Hammock Koch, Victor Glover and Reid Wiseman, along with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen. They will be launched into orbit on an SLS rocket, which will carry them inside an Orion spacecraft. SLS will then propel them into a free-return trajectory around the Moon, where they will remain for 10 days, before returning to Earth for re-entry and splashdown. The mission, which will be the first crewed test of the SLS and Orion, will set the stage for Artemis’s first lunar landing in 2025.

As a Canadian with my entire soul I am very happy and grateful that our spectacular brothers down south are willing to allow us to join in on this incredible journey. Thank you even though I know a lot of Canadians may talk ill about the USA to try and make themselves more sure of themselves in their Canadian identity where we sometimes will think of what to do to separate ourselves from America as much as possible.
