Asteroid's could be used as weapons if one was nudges so it would hit earth (or moon) at specific targets. Don't tell me the military hasn't thought if this. Also what new heading is that rock going? By changing the path it takes, maybe it will hit something it was never going to hit before they changed its path. Suppose it hits another planet that it was not meant to. If if hits another asteroid it would also change its path. Ever play the video game Asteroids by Atari?
