1st problem with the Creality K1. Had some stuck filament and had to take apart the extruder to get it. It was a pretty simple and quick process and I’m back up and running.

Looks like your fix went a lot better than mine.

The jammed extruder is among the most annoying 3d printer issues to me because its so simple but you still have to take apart the extruder. It doesnt happen often, but i hate it every time 😅

I had a bad extruder jam a few days in and had to disassemble it as well. Had zero problems until that point. Luckily the official instruction video is very clear and disassembly is easy. I blame the filament, it seems to be much lower quality than my other filament and I had problems with underextrusion and jamming that I don't have with any other filament.

Yep. Me too. Love this printer, hadn't turned it off in almost 8 days since I got it. then that happened. Easy fix.

Thank you so much man, I can’t believe that was it

Had the same issue recently with my K1C.
Be careful when taking the front cover off to access the nozzle. The fan 4pin connector is very poorly glued to the circuit board. It will likely pull off the 4pin housing and bend the pins, but it's easy to fix.

Had an issue with it constantly jamming and not extruding properly.

I ended up disassembling the head. Clearing and cleaning the gears. And changing out the nozzle for a new. I have had PERFECT prints since

when i got my k1max there was a tiny piece of filament in the extruder from the factory when they tested it i guess. i emded up using the metal rod they included to push it down while the nozzle was heated. saw a long string of grey pla made sure it was clear put the ptfe tube on and filament went in no issues i was happy when it printed amazing

You're lucky. One of my gears was busted.

Very happy to know now that I took apart the wrong side. Might even tackle my feed failure again, with my new bandaid

Very similar problem with my K1 Max for the first time since I got it in January. The jam happening mid print. It’s an easy enough tear down after watching a couple of videos.

I've had a K1 Max for a few months now and the only issue I've had is a tooth breaking off one of the gears... but I've had it happen 3 times now and it's not even like my extruder is the original batch, it's the new version that they "fixed" 😠

How is your extruder working? Just saw they have a new version of the extruder: steel plate and matt instead of the shiny aluminium.

I met with the same problem with K1C three times.

That was my first problem, and now it's the one that moves the gears it comes loose and turns out the screws seem to be to small for it
