The first time I heard this song, I thought that it had come out in the mid 90’s. I was shocked to find out it was from the 80’s. You can clearly hear listening to this song, and others by the Pixies, that they influenced a lot of early to mid 90’s bands, including the Pumpkins.

What is truly amazing is this song came out in 1988. First time I heard it in the Fight Club closing credits I thought for a moment that it was the smashing pumpkins.
