Most people have had the dream of buying a home in a perfect small town. Norman Rockwell made it look so nice; people were happy, real estate was affordable, and crime was a guy who sold the town a miracle elixir that had no magic properties, and we now call it Jagermeister.
Can you imagine living in a small town that is more dangerous than Chicago and has more poverty than Gary, Indiana?
These small towns exist, and the only positive is the real estate is cheap.
In this video, we are looking at over 100 of the worst small towns in the United States.

The United States has some great small rural towns that aren't on this list. In this video we will show you small rural towns you should ask a realtor or real estate agent about. These towns might be affordable, but that is where the nice things stop.

I do look forward to your extended listings of best small towns. Havre de Grace in my state of Maryland is lovely.
It sits at the mouth of the Susquehanna River at the northern tip of the Chesapeake. The Decoy Museum proves that there's more art in that craft than you'd think.

Interesting list as always. I'm hoping you do some more with States that you haven't listed. There has to be not so great small towns in places such as MI(my home state) MN, OH, IL, etc. . If you haven't done a best and worst of in these states; please do. So far I've found your best and worst lists to be quite objective. Thanks for this one

I never heard of these towns in Florida and I live here. We have a great town. Englewood Florida. But home insurance is brutal. Tons of stuff to do. Lots of restaurants and stuff to do on the Gulf of Mexico. But I am thinking of leaving. The humidity and hurricanes are a big factor.

I was raised is a small mountain town in Colorado and loved it. I don’t like cities, high cost real estate and a lot of people. The more people, the more crime. My husband was a carpenter so buying a foreclosure real real cheap hit the jackpot . He made the property a gem. Look for foreclosures when buying. With Hoas .

I'm 45 from Pennsylvania I grew up in Philadelphia, but now I live in Johnstown Pa all I know about this town is the floods before I moved out here would appreciate a video about this town if you have time and are familiar, great videos I'm a subsciber have a good one .
