The save game is corrupt and cannot be loaded Starfield

I was level 38 and lost all save files down to level 19. This game is alpha software. I'm beyond pissed at this point.

Same thing happened to me twice. Part of my city is missing still.

not only to you, my save is at 7days playtime and its the same, i would start again i think, crazy, but now i can take with that knowledge from before.. its like a cyberbug 2.0 ;/

If you are using game pass it has something to do with one drive there is a video fix to prevent it on youtube.

just got hit with this bug after 20 hours in…just deleted the game and now it’s reinstalling we’ll see how it goes

I just loaded a prevous save and done and was able to play got a habit of saving every 5 to 10 minutes so not a huge losss for me thisw as actully a auto save with a 2 minute diffrence from my manual save

So deleting the game and reinstalling will retain the save even though the game says it’s corrupted? I’m so scared that it’s going to be gone forever. I was playing and randomly it said that a save could not be made and now my most recent game is corrupted while the good ones are 10+ hours before.

My saved games get stuck on the load screen and then steam crashes. I can start a new game though.

Try some mods, Bethesda is famous for game breaking bugs and corrupting save files, mods might fix that for next save
