Works on MAC to. In my case the savegame was just in the game gone, but in the Application Support it was there. I created a "savegame2" folder and made a copy like in the tutorial.

I just started playing, and I was expecting the terrain flattening tool to have a confirmation of some kind before applying the changes, so I accidentally spent all my money just to ruin an entire field. Was able to grab a backup from the previous day, and it's all good now. Thanks! <3

You are a life saver. I spent 21.4 hours in Farming sim, working on one map, and it all of a sudden disappeared. I don't use mods. Only thing I can think of is while I was on the main menu, my power to my desktop cut out, and an error occurred.
