McGroarty is that one player that brings energy to the ice. These young players, in my opinion is what the team needs. I hope to see it happen sooner than later. Thank you DK, Awesome !

I think Broz might crack the roster. DK mentions all the time, the most coveted skill is finishing, scoring the hockey puck lol. Broz has nothing but goals in big games. I'm not saying he will ascend to Jake's level of scoring, however, the kid can be leaned on in big games. You want a mitch marner or a Jake Gentzel? I'd take scoring in big games over a huge regular season point total any day and I think broz has that. I watched his ncaa tournament cuz hey! We have prospects to be excited about. Injuries led him to be leaned on, he took that on no problem. I dunno if the coaching staff said "brozy, it's gunna be you who is the hero, everyone get him the puck" but he did the thing, twice and won.
A winner, a leader and a finisher with a motor on him. Please put him in.

hey DK, i know with the start of the season coming your workload is going to skyrocket. With that being said have you ever considered to do a long form podcast too? for example, keep the daily shots, but every Friday or something maybe you release a 1–2-hour podcast diving deeper into the best topics from the week. IF this was a real thing this week id think the long form podcast could diver deeper into the pens prospects like Tristan Broz, Fields over Russ for QB1 now, and I'm not a huge Pirates fan admittedly, but something about Skenes! I am always craving more after the daily shot episodes which is why this even came to mind!

I will get excessively excited about the Prospects; I'm ok with heartbreak 😂Honestly, I've got nothing else sports-wise to care about, so why not? (My desire to follow what the Steelers do has waned dramatically and the Bucs...) 🤘🤘

It's funny to me how easily people get excited about some average prospects, based on NHL scouting. Rutger of course is better, somewhere in the top 40. Let's remember, these are simply prospects. And they have more in common with MLB prospects than NFL prospects, in that most fail or become mediocre NHL players. Some of this I get as the Pens have been so horrendous at anything related to drafting and development for the better part of 10 years if not more. I won't get excited about guy playing against other similar players. Now when these guys come up and do well against actual NHL players, they for sure. I'll remain skeptical until that happens.
