Brilliant! I got my keys for $30 each from Amazon, paid $15 each to have them cut by a locksmith, and did this one minute programming procedure. Worked perfectly. The local Ford dealer quoted me $380 per key. I saved $670!

What worked for 2014 Focus SE:
Doors closed, car unlocked. Put working key into ignition. Turn ignition on 8 times (you’ll see lights on the dash come on and off 8 times) then press lock on new remote, press lock on working remote, remove key from ignition and press lock again on new remote. Both remotes now working.

Wondering if you have any method to figure both of the keys don’t work. Both of my keys have the new batteries but the remote function does not work
