(hack) How to change Ford keyless go remote key battery in under 1 min. (English)

This How-To shows you how to change the battery for your Ford Keyless Go Remote Controle in under 1 minute. Its really easy and simple. Everyone can do this. You just need a screwdriver, the new battery and the Keyless Go.

After changing the battery mine wont lock or unlock car, if I put old battery in (almost dead battery) it works. Key isn’t damaged.

The security key should be used to open the second part - not a screw driver 😂

Very stupid design. It was so easy to change the battery in the key of my previous car which is another brand. No tool was needed and the key wouldn't be damaged at all. This Ford key though, you have to use a screwdriver, which is already is stupid. What's worse? The screwdriver is made of metal. After applying force to the soft plastic inside the tiny hole a couple of times, it's finally opened but the plastic joint has already been damaged.

As we all know how expensive it is to replace a factory key, I can't help but believe that Ford use this stupid design on purpose. The material itself is cheap in cost and they charge so much for a key replacement. Think about the profit margin there!
