Great video! I use minio S3 + Velero for my backups and works great. I also use longhorn for persistent storage, which I just assigned a local-lvm via proxmox to each of my VM nodes and expose that storage per node for longhorn. Right now I distribute around 150Gi per VM worker node (got 6 + control node). Minio + Velero backups go straight into my ZFS Pool via NFS. I also do backups of the VMs via Proxmox Backup Server.

I would be interested in what you decide to use for your logging and tracing solutions, afaict it looks like grafana has EOLd promtail and loki changes now seem to require long term object storage which isn't the most homelab friendly solution.
