Everything from productivity to creativity, and blocking spam, everyone should benefit from these really essential Android apps! Plus they're all free!

It would be nice if you could include the apps in the description. I had to keep re-winding the video to catch the correct spelling. I don't really know if I want these apps that much, maybe the wifi analyzer. I thought Authy was Authkey.

Lots of Android phones come with pre-installed Google Keep, but people don’t use it because it’s a pretty basic app. I use Keep as my primary notes app because I don’t need extra features, but there‘s definitely plenty of more feature-packaged notes apps on the Play Store.

Radar Now is another great app. The premium version is also well worth the expense if you tend to travel a lot. Of course since I use the aforementioned Google Opinion rewards, it was essentially free.

If you want a good screen recorder with lots of settings, the best one I've ever used is "screen recorder no ads" it's very nice and you can also add a toggle in the notifications shade, it's also free

Do Not Disturb. Have you ever set your phone in DND mode for a meeting or for a movie and forgot to turn it back on? I don't know how Do Not Disturb for set amount of time is not a default feature in Android.

I'm using Google Keep right now to jot down the apps in the list I like the sound of. I've been using keep on my devices for quite a while now and I agree it's the best, most convenient note taking app out there.

my list of essential apps:
Total Commander - file browser
Gimp Inkscape - high quality port of Gimp to android
CPU Temp Monitor - tells you the temperature of your device so that you know when to let it cool down so that it doesnt overheat and potentially become a new Samsung Galaxy Note 7
Activity Launcher - gives you a list of all installed apps including ones that are hidden such as the sim unlock program installed by the manufacturer or the manufacturers hidden menu
Open Camera - gives you a better and usually more reliable camera app which will sometimes give you a better image quality than the manufacturer's camera app
Hidden Settings - the name is in the title, unlocks all settings for you incase your manufacturer disabled a certain setting.
AndrOpen Office - a port of Apache Open Office to Android with all the same features as the desktop version that Oracle lets you download
