First Coast Connect: Vietnam’s Voices

the town of Hilliard commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War with a special ceremony and a visit from The Wall That Heals — a traveling, three-fifths scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Nassau County is one of the traveling wall’s final stops before being retired later this year. We talk to the mayor of Hilliard and a local Vietnam veteran about the weeklong commemoration and how the public can take part.
