John Meadows is an American professional bodybuilder and entrepreneur with an intriguing story. While John now boasts a successful career as an IFBB Pro bodybuilder and fitness company owner, his journey towards the top was extremely difficult.

Growing up, John never met his father, and his mother died at an extremely young age. This meant John only had his grandmother to take care of him. When his grandmother tragically passed away in 1999, John was left alone without his family to support him.

As the years went by, John continued to face new adversities in his life. During his early days in bodybuilding, John suffered from a rare colon disease. After fighting the disease for several months, his colon burst – almost resulting in his death. Luckily, John was quickly rushed to an emergency room where his life was saved. After several months of recovery, John was finally back on his feet.

Coming back into bodybuilding, John used the very obstacles that almost cost him his life as ‘fuel’ to grow stronger. Ever since he recovered from the colon surgery, John has gone on to become a successful bodybuilder, entrepreneur, and inspiration for many people all over the world.

If you're going to listen to just one person in the "fitness" industry, let it be John Meadows. Trust me. He is genuine, knowledgeable, and experienced on a level others simply are not.

1. Cookie cutter diet plans.
2. No accountability.
3. Extreme workout plans you cannot sustain.
4. Not having fun.

Stop doing exercises that hurt or you don't like is great advice. When I stopped doing exercises I didn't like, I worked out much more consistently afterwards.

John you are so good. My favorite trainer hands down. I cannot weight to work with you. You deliver valuable information in an authentic and KIND manner. You respect everyone and you teach without dispariging others. That is so very rare. I appreciate you for that. Keep making excellent content.

You have the best advice by far. It's like listening to a real friend not just some trainer at the gym or some sales person trying to trick me into buying something I don't need.

I’m pretty lean everywhere except my lower abs. I just can never take it to that next level wherein I’m able to lose it all. I hear that last little bit is the most difficult to get rid of

I am the kind of guy that has only one belief : hard work must be payed. I've never felt so good as i feel at this time in my life and before this, believe me, i was really depressed and more than that. Since i put everything on the line, eating what works for me, working hard with high intensity, doing my best in school, being more sociable, trying new things and learning a lot from everything I have kicked depression so hard in the chin that it's knees are still shaking. My first to go thing for losing body fat is a simple question : why are you doing this ? Is it for your friends? to get the girls? or is it because you ain't feeling well in your body, you are sweating from walking or your body is keeping you closed inside your house just to not get judged? No one cares how any of us looks like, most of the time is only envy if your body is more athletic than his or hers but believe me, if you are looking good on the outside as much as you can, and feeling amazing inside you are going to rock the whole world whatever is what you do.
I drifted a little but my top one reason you are not losing the fat is you ain't leaving your comfort zone small things matter :) . Thank you again sir John for a great video :) much much much love :) keep it
btw awesome freaking shirt !
