from western NY but lived in the Highlands area for 8 yrs . We would go to Dry Falls at night and the area would be aglow with glow worms, fireflies . It is important to stay behind the rails, there's a moss that's grey like the rocks but wet underneath and will slide under weight. There's Whiteside Cliffs near Highlands . The highest sheer cliffs in the Eastern U.S. . We would go to a part of the cliffs called 'Lila's Rock' and watch the hang gliders launch from the rock. I started wood carving there . In winter the mountains become silver, glistening in the daylight from hoar frost, awesome. the area was the 'gem capitol' for a time .found several including a star sapphire that I had cut. Had to learn a little geology and did a lot of hiking but well worth it

Loved your video and all the information and views! Thanks for letting us know about parking and level of difficulty for each hike. I would’ve loved to have watched it without the music, though. It’s hard to hear and understand you talking with the overpowering music.
