Hiking season is upon us and you know what that means - it is prime time to visit Yosemite National Park!

We've gotten to know the Yosemite hikes VERY well throughout the years, and we thought it would be the perfect time to share with you guys our picks for the top five best hikes in Yosemite (for all seasons), plus some bonus tips to get the most out of your trip.

Yosemite is my favorite area I've been blessed to visit and explore. The first time I ever went to Yosemite Valley, I was battling a muscle disorder and was experiencing mobility issues. I remember thinking, if I am ever able to live a normal life again, I will challenge myself to getting on top of Half Dome. Four years after that thought, I did the hike. It was the most beautiful experience I have had yet in my 38 years of living!! I was taken over by tears streaming down my face as I remember being down at Tunnel View and praying to be able to hike let alone walk again. The challenge turned dream turned reality has propelled me into the world of backpacking, with Yosemite and Desolation Wilderness being my favorite spots to trek (live in Sacramento, so pretty close). I highly suggest you both venture out to Desolation Wilderness, do Pyramid Peak which is the highest peak in Deso. Since you both are "go-getters, " add a trip over to Dick Peak, I could see a good video in the making :)

5/ Tunnel view to Glacier point (12mi one-way), can camp as Dewey point, Taft point
4/ Yosemite falls trails to Yosemite point, cool to see early spring as ice/snow cracks
3/ North Dome, best views of half-dome, summer route from Tioga road (10mi one way), or continue from Yosemite point
2/ Cloud's rest, not for people with fear-of-heights, (7mi one way), end hike with dunk in lake
1/ Half-dome (need permit or go off season with technical gear)
Bonus: Cloud's rest on the way back from Half-dome (total=26mi)

can't comment on #4 and 5, but spot on with 1, 2, and 3! I camped in light snow near North Dome years ago in the month of March, and it was a fantastic trip and awesome scenery! I look forward to your Dolomites video! Stay safe you two, and thanks for keeping us posted!

You guys HAVE to go to Yosemite this spring. Having visited it almost every year and hiked nany trails you mentioned, THIS year is something else! I have never seen so much water in the waterfalls! I did a Yosemite falls hike and the falls were ROARING! You can hear the thunder across the valley!
Also all the flooding created many reflection ponds, great for photography!!
