▶ About this video:
What to look for in a code editor?
First, you need to think about what you are expecting. For example, we prefer coding editors that have auto-completion features. But others may find it distracting. Some coders might want a dark or light color scheme for their UI that can be interchanged.

We tried various options and decided to share our top free and paid editors.

My favorite feature of VS code is the ability for multiple people to edit the same file at the same time via Live Share.

I think Atom is my favorite editor after all. I tried VS Code a few times, but I think my laptop is too old to handle a heavy text editor and still do all the other web development tasks.

Notepad++ has always been my favorite code editor. I think I've tried all the editors you talked about in the video, but I can't seem to get used to the changes.
