Coach Saban is such a class guy and is genuinely proud of Smart’s accomplishments as he is for all of his former assistants. Coach Smart’s team won the game, but you don’t hear a lot of talk about him as a class guy yet he is improving with experience at masking that vile anger. Coach Saban would probably be wise to not take any unwitnessed walks with Smart near the top of any tall staircases.

He’s happy because he knows half his people will be back next year going after Texas A&M. Just because Alabama lost doesn’t mean it’s over for Saban. Georgia was SUPPOSED to win undefeated from the start. Had they not played a better team named Alabama in the SEC championship then idk if they would’ve won this game because they haven’t had to go against a good QB like Bryce Young.
