I have done my BA in English Literature... now, I am planning Political Science Masters from IGNOU and appear for NET ...I heard the panel members do not prefer non-background candidates (Eng lit. in my case) for Assistant Professor post...can you please clear it ? ...I am not questioning the eligibility here but the psychology of the panel members while selecting a non-background candidate. No, mam NTA allows in one subject only. Multiple Registration is not accepted by NTA.I have experienced it.
