New Select Subject Tool in Photoshop Generative Fill

Have you seen the new tricks you can do with Generative Fill in Photoshop Beta lately?
Let’s go check out the Select Subject Tool.

Change Background
This is an image I created in Midjourney. And it looks like she’s at home on the couch surfing on her phone.
Let’s take her to work.
One of the new tools we have is Select Subject.
And it does a really good job of it but check this out.
You can click the 2nd icon to invert the selection. And now it’s the background.
Let’s do a corporate office.
Let’s flip through these.
Yeah, I like that one.
But we can’t have her in the same clothes she was in at home!
So we’re going to use the lasso tool.
And we’re going to give her a business suit.
Let’s flip through these.
That one looks pretty good.
And that one looks even better, except for that weird collar. Let’s generate that one again.
And we’ll flip through these.
Okay, I think I like that one.
Okay, that looks pretty good.
Now let’s do something with that hair.
Use the lasso tool again.
And type in formal hairdo.
And let’s leave her ear still out.
And let’s do work hairdo.
Yeah, that looks pretty good. Let’s flip through those.
So, now you have the same person, but a very different scene.
