Doug, I’m from SE Texas, my mom was from south Texas, and my dad was from New Mexico. I’ve been eating those for 30 or 40 years. Glad you saw the light. Love the fact you don’t take yourself to seriously, but provide great information and entertainment.

Oh how I miss having those, I absolutely love them so much. The ole GERD etc won't let me have them anymore. I used to make them a lot and for great bbq get togethers too. People love them... Take care. Claudia

Hey Doug, I'm a member of your ninja foodie group, I've never bought these pre-made, or air fried them, but I do make them myself a lot, I must say though my favorite way for these is to dust them with a little barbecue rub and to smoke them for a couple hours they take on a really bright red color and are delicious.

Way to go Doug. Never thought of using an air fryer. More convenient than using a smoker. If you do this again, put some sweet bbq sauce on there, like a peach or something to offset the 'heat' from the jalapenos. Never thought of hitting up Sam's Club. They do all the work so you can do all the eating. hmmm... May need to add one of those to my cart next time.

Looks good. Will try this tomorrow since I have all the ingredients here. Will try some with cream cheese mixed with another kind of cheese. Will post.

*Yo Doug You GOT to do this with those poppers!*
Get some boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
Unwrap the bacon from the poppers.
Place the popper (cheese side) against the chicken thigh.
Re-wrap the thigh & pepper entirely. (you might need another pack of bacon)
Bake in regular oven on 350 for about 35 mins or however done you like your thighs. (or you can use the Cosori, LOL)
About 10 minutes before you take them out, coat the thighs with your favorite BBQ sauce and place back in oven the last 10 minutes.

Doug, if you made them yourself try a little fresh lemon zest when you mix the cream cheese. Not so hot and still taste great. Just saying...
