I have a friend from HS who is a park rangers at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. He has heard whoops and cries during the evening time from unknown animals. And has found deep in the wilderness primitive makeshift huts and what he calls "sasquatch trinkets." Which he told me is when the these creatures take young tree branches and literally tie them in a knot and repeat that a few times around the tree, a feat that would be impossible for a human to do. He also has found large uprooted trees flipped upside down with the roots stretching towards the sky, no machinery marks on the ground or markings on the tree. He believes they are almost boundary markers or a showing of power between them. Needless to say he is always armed and frequently feels like he is being watched while in the wilderness.

I love that last footage so much, It’s one of my personal favourites! The ripping of the tree bark is not something a human could do so easily and you see and hear the splash as it tosses the large chunks into the water.

@9:00 If the guy took pictures of the bigfoot with a kodak disposable camera, how did he show the photos to the police 15 minutes later? Did he magically develop the film in 15 minutes in the middle of the woods?

The thing with Bigfoot/Skunk Ape/Yeti/etc is that they are omnivores and, as with humans, there are a lot of differences between individuals. Some are mild tempered. Some are aggressive. Some are a lot more carnivore than vegetarian. Being territorial is probably more of a male thing than female thing. Most seem to just want to be left alone to do their thing. But back anything into, what it feels is, a corner then things can get dangerous. Trying to get near a creature that is so strong that they could backhand your head off your shoulders doesn’t seem to be the smartest thing to do.
