I lived in and worked in rural areas of oregon and oklahoma for many years. I bet my life that these things exist, as I have truly had unexplainable spine chilling encounters. I've seen one, had one yell in my car, and one yell back at me from the forest multiple times.

I live in the Lake Livingston area and have heard these sounds as that one that was recorded in the Sam Houston Forest area which is within 10 miles of where I live. Do I beleive it was a bigffoot? Yes I do.

I've watched dozens of bears in trees, both adults and cubs, and I'm very certain that was no bear, impossible..

I've been in the woods in WA state a lot and there have been times of absolute silence. No birds, insects, rustling, nothing. Several of these times I have had the absolute conviction that "I gotta go, " which I always listen to, and don't stop until I get to my truck and drive away, or about 30 mins after I don't feel the need to leave. I use the walk to calm down. I don't recall ever feeling anything in my chest, but I wonder if it was the effect of infrasound. Maybe there was one a ways off doing a VERY low growl, with no audible calls.

Also, in WA, a very good friend of mine, and his cousin, have a story of seeing a family of "creatures, " the word they usually use, but when I ask if they thought they were bigfoot/sasquatch they're hesitant, but "yeah." My friend says there were two pairs, separated by about 150 feet, with one pair approx 50' higher, so accurate size comparisons of the adults is difficult, but using human sizing his impression is Mama was with an early gradeschooler, lower and about 100' away, and Papa had a teenager with him, in what seemed an overwatch position. His cousin was 100-150 feet away, out of sight of my friend, and got a good look from a greater distance at Papa and junior, but didn't see Mama or the little one. They had both come into a clear(er) area and there they were. They all looked at each other, and my friend says he could see Papa turning his head a little to look at his cousin. Neither one can be positive about the time, seeming to be forever and not long enough, but they both think between 30-60 seconds, and independently the humans started backing up. No one had made a sound. While not hunting, they both had rifles and pistols, rounds chambered, safeties on. The thought of using them never entered either of their minds. They both say they actually forgot they had them, but wouldn't have used them if they remembered.

My friend's sister was about 10 feet from my friend, and equally armed, and should have seen what my friend saw, but won't talk about it. She has never talked about any part of that particular hike, but has never said it didn't happen or she wasn't there. She just goes silent, and would probably leave the room if pressed.
