What about on the t540 xp ? They don't have the same mechanism to twist?

Please sell the chainsaw with this wrench instead of the one without the grooves to turn the brake reset.

A video on how to modify the scrench tool would be great.

The scrench that came with my dad's 445 doesn't have the grooves in the large end shown in this video. Do you sell these screnches seperately? My dad needs to reset his chain brake but we don't have the tool.

Thanks for a quick, no bullshit explanation and demonstration bro.

You don't have to have this tool. Just use a 9/16" wrench and screwdriver. Take the open end of the wrench, place the jaws over one of the three sprockets, then insert the screwdriver through the closed end of the wrench and twist the wrench with the screwdriver clockwise.

Fantastic I had this problem today due to my lack of knowledge and experience... I now see why there are cut outs on the spark plug spanner... so you can rest the brake... thanks again....

I just inherited my wife’s dad’s old 460 rancher a week ago and the brake won’t engage at all, any tips for fixing that so it works properly?
