As someone who has had to tear out lava rock and partially disintegrated landscape fabric the previous owner installed, this is triggering my PTSD. Please don’t put any fabric under mulch. Put mulch in minimum of 4” thick and you have zero weed pressure.

Nice job bud, I own an outdoor construction company, definitely takes time to build your reputation and get a piece of equipment, slowly, but surely I have quite a fleet of machines now. You will get there. If I could give you one piece of advice. if I was to start over today, the first machine that I would buy hands-down is the MT100
It will fit in backyards, it has tracks, you can dig with it, transport dirt, loaded trailer.

Landscape fabric makes it harder for water to drain down to roots, then you get shallow roots. It also doesn't prevent weeds, soil blows into mulch, then you get weeds. Landscape fabric also leaches BPA into soil. It also contributed to fungal infections in trees.

So many people argue not to use fabric but from my experiemce, if it's good fabric, it prevemts 95% or more of weeds. Even after 2 years. Nice vid. Subscribed.
