Want the recipe for quick, easy Southern style biscuits? These are super quick and only require two ingredients! All you need is self-rising flour and heavy cream. Full recipe in description and also printable with the link below. Put in the comments what you think! Let me know if there's something you would like me to make. I have some of my own, but I'm always looking for great recipes.
Ingredients:
2 cups (240 grams) self-rising flour
(or sub 2 cups all-purpose flour, 3 teaspoons (15 g) baking powder, ½ teaspoon (3 g) salt)
1 ½ (300 ml) cup heavy cream
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. (180 Celsius)
Step 2: Mix flour and cream together with minimal stirring.
Step 3: Flatten dough out on floured surface. Cut out biscuits and place, touching, on a non-floured cookie sheet. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
