Want the recipe for quick, easy Southern style biscuits? These are super quick and only require two ingredients! All you need is self-rising flour and heavy cream. Full recipe in description and also printable with the link below. Put in the comments what you think! Let me know if there's something you would like me to make. I have some of my own, but I'm always looking for great recipes.

Ingredients:
2 cups (240 grams) self-rising flour
(or sub 2 cups all-purpose flour, 3 teaspoons (15 g) baking powder, ½ teaspoon (3 g) salt)

1 ½ (300 ml) cup heavy cream

Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. (180 Celsius)

Step 2: Mix flour and cream together with minimal stirring.

Step 3: Flatten dough out on floured surface. Cut out biscuits and place, touching, on a non-floured cookie sheet. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Ok! Made these biscuits this morning! They are unbelievably easy & SO TASTY! I made a half recipe, using all purpose flour (w 1 1/2t baking powder & 1/2 salt - per 1 C - mixed in well) & 1 little 8 oz box of Trader Joe’s whipping cream that I had in my cupboard. Then I baked mine in an air fryer bc we live in an apartment & didn’t want to heat up my kitchen! It worked fine, but I will try in an oven for comparison as soon as it’s cooler outside! ❤️

Discovered this recipe many years ago and its the only biscuit recipe I have used since.. Small tip if I may, after patting the dough out, divide into 4 and stack them, then pat stacked dough out again and cut them... Amazing layers

Great recipe! I’v been making them for years.
I use the handle of a wooden spoon to mix. Makes mixing easier.

If you will heat cream slightly in microwave it will mix with the flour more easily making a beautiful dough so great with which to work. 🌸🌷🌸

I've made these and they turned out so good. I've been making biscuits since I was about 6 years old, the old fashioned way, but this recipe is equally as good and so much easier!!

This recipe, as you said, IS a classic. I made biscuits for years using regular flour, baking soda, salt, shortening or butter, and milk. Just a few months ago I discovered this easy recipe— but there are slight variations. Some put equal amounts of self rising flour and cream, and some cook at different temperatures and times. I’ve seen 400 degrees for 15-20 min, and this one, 450 for 10-12 minutes. And in the videos they all turn out good.

Your video stands out because of how calm and low key you are, and that you talk about using the tools you have. And I love that you pat out your dough instead of using a rolling pin. Oh—question: did you grease your baking sheet? Most people do, but it wasn’t mentioned here. I’m going to check out your other videos.
