I'm listening with noise cancelling headphones, bass turned way up, in the total darkness of night. I feel like this is what the deepest, farthest, oldest regions of our Cosmos would sound like if humans had ears to detect it. The Primordial melody that wove Creation into being, that lovingly greeted us at our beginning, and will gently beckon us to return at our end. Such an unfamiliar sense of peace this is.

I like Forgotten Deity #2 and #3, but I keep returning to the original, because there is something eerily haunting that draws me back.

All three are pleasant to listen to, but for some strange reason, I feel as though this one stirs long forgotten memories of a previous life, across the veil of mortality. Like I was witness to ancient civilizations and religions before being born into this world, and the melody of her singing is an echo of a memory that I have lost.

I may not understand the words, or remember her face, but it is that longing I have for what I have lost which brings me back to this song. I play it often, especially when depressed, because it gives me hope that someday I will remember, and all will be made right.
