Congratulations to Porsche for bringing this car !! I owned a 991 Carrera T and loved it every moment. Sold it for a GT3 Touring because the T brought me so much joy that I wanted to go the extra mile. But I still think the T was a truly great car and wouldn't hesitate to drive it again. No comparison possible between the two, both are exciting to drive, both are different cars. I have a manual Touring now, the T was PDK. Based on my experience now I would spec a 992 T with a manual gearbox and I would still keep the rear seats (very handy to still have them and when you fold them down it looks as cool as a rear-seat-delete). I would hesitate between the 18-way seats (they were very comfortable in my T) and the sport bucket seats (they look stunning in my Touring and with a little bit of experimentation they sit comfortable too). For all those wanting to order a new Porsche. You may get a completed car delivered only to have it sit at the dealer for months waiting for a Bose or Burmeister amp. Both Bose and Burmeister are on backorder. My new Turbo GT delivered minus the Burmeister amp. The dealer says Porsche won’t allow the cars to complete delivery till the amps come in. Could be months! So it sits at the dealer lot for months awaiting a plug and play part.

Biggest reason the touring wins isn’t the motor, but the fact the exhaust isn’t molded. Hopefully that design trend goes away next generation. Besides that love the car.
