Theists always think these questions are going to be our undoing removing the entire foundation of our doubt. Over and over again they will throw these questions at us, seemingly never comprehending that a lack of belief is not, itself, a belief. It’s just us saying, “we don’t know.”, because at no point has a theist ever demonstrated evidence to justify belief.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. The Bible is not proof of the existence of God, any more than the Lord of the Rings is proof of the existence of elves, hobbits, and wizards.

I'm an atheist and I'm a stem major, in science we are taught that in order to make a claim we have to be able to test for it. We can not test for God's existence just like we can't test if silver will harm a vampire (weird analogy I know). So yes I do have evidence that you can't test for God's existence, but there will always be some Christain that comes at me saying God is all around you just look.

1: I personally am an anti-theist in addition to being an Atheist, I do actively disbelieve in all of the gods and goddesses I've ever been presented with.

2: I do believe that beliefs should be evidenced, I think that even less tangible beliefs about abstractions can have evidence indicating their effectiveness or preferability.

3: How much time do you have? For one: No gods that any group of humans ever believed in was capable of crossing oceans before humans built big enough wooden boats, every god was limited by the limitations of human cultures.

They ask these questions until we answer, the problem of evil, divine hiddenness, nonresistant nonbelievers, the argument from injustice, argument of simplicity. But also, when I observe the world, it looks and behaves as if god doesn’t exist.
