Orphan Annie here. Many (many) years ago, before speed regulators on semis, my roommate and I were traveling in her Cougar late at night on an interstate while talking to some truckers on the CB. They ended up slipping us into "the rocking chair" and we boogied. Don't know how fast we were going but it was well over 100! Ah, sweet memories. My friend left us almost 20 yrs ago but far too soon.

So glad you reviewed the original, the movie version just isn't as good. CB's are still used, but federal regulations limited the broadcasting power down such that we can only talk a few miles away. It really has faded from its hayday.

I grew up in the 70’s and my dad drove a log truck. Us kids all had CB handles and loved riding with him. There is nothing like growing up during those times. 😊😊😊

Omg what a great memory!
My dad was a long haul trucker when I was growing up. He had a home CB station and my sister and I would play around on it when we were teenagers. It was so fun listening to all the truckers. I'm 60 years old now and I can still remember my CB handle was "Cactus Flower"

My husband was a trucker for 40+ years... I was with him quite a bit! He used his CB until cancer stopped him. He hated sitting home.

In my 20's the CB was the way to communicate with all of our friends. We had them in our homes and cars. I ended up marrying an over the road truck driver and he always had this CD in his rig.

We loved this song when we were kids! My parents took me and my brothers to see the movie "Convoy" with Kris Kristofferson and Ali McGraw. Now I ha e two sons and we've watched the movie together too! 😁. Such a fun story song!

Back in the 70’s everyone had a CB and a handle even if you weren’t a trucker. Everyone used to talk to each other on the road from car to car and sometimes talk with the truckers because they always knew where the radar traps were so you could speed. It was always so cool to see a convoy on the highway as a kid. Those were such great times! ❤ I loved this song back in the day and still do!

C.W. Is always called for Great choice. Now use of CB's are still going, specially by truckers. Was a normal CB user not a trucker But met my Wife of 47 years because of CB radios. And still married :) Loves the trucking songs.

this came out when i was a little kid and we all loved to go to school and tell each other our uncle or cousin's new handle, and explain what this or that code meant. to this day i still say "copy that" and "10-4 good buddy"

I'm 30 live in the US and there still very popular, had one in every vehicle I've owned since I was 16, great video, he's a legend in my eyes, all his songs are awesome and some funny as well, he's one hell of a story teller, great reaction as always haus
