Warframe - Using Voruna Effectively

This is what I've found to be an effective way of using everything her abilities have to offer.

Most people say to subsume over Voruna's 4 is because that ability, compared with the rest of the kit, is the least useful. Especially when she launched without an augment for her 4. Even without the ability, Voruna has a playstyle as a melee frame or a status spreader. And of course it is just personal playstyles at the end of the day.

Best way to use Voruna is to subsume over her 4 despite it being fun. It's a redundant ability unfortunately, her 2 is already a targeted mobility option and a melee weapon way surpasses the damage her 4 offers. Kullervo, Valkyr, Rhino, Mesa, Khora, Grendel all offer strong synergistic abilities to her kit. Also she def needs shield gate despite having invisibility, as it's temporary and you can easily die mid melee combo before recasting, or get hit by crossfire while invisible. Shield gate just prevents her from having to interrupt the flow of her melee DPS. My build is Combat Discipline > Cunning Drift > Archon Continuity > Equilibrium > Blind Rage > Catalyzing > Umbral Intensify > Augur Reach > Archon Stretch > Archon Flow > Arcane Fury > Arcane Avenger. Melee frame so you just put Augur mods on her Secondary. Her 2 is also one of the best CO abusers in the game, so it's a major waste not to use her as a melee frame. She's also a very good Melee Influence user, Prisma Ohma and Dual Ichor Incarnon are really great on her. I think Growing Power/Steel Charge + Arcane Fury + Molt Augmented ends up slightly edging out in damage but I haven't Aura Forma'd my Voruna yet.

I put a grouping ability over her 4 (Ensnare, at the moment) and use Argonak+Dagger to spread and strip enemies in a huge area. I don't do extra long endurance runs, but I went nearly an hour in Circulus Steel Path solo and didn't once drop life support to critical levels, so I'd say it works. My point being, I can use well-built weapons and synergistic mods to do the job, so I didn't feel the need to limit myself to what her 4 can do.

I only really use voruna if she pops up in circuit. But I do use a similar build.

i really despise warframe abilites that just only have a chance of doing something. Voruna is still cool but 'tag enemies with 2 then use with 4 for big damage synergy' is present on so many other frames without rng.
