Do You Like Voruna The New Wolf Warframe? Lua's Prey

Small talk video here about Voruna the new Wolf Warframe! If you didn't know she is mainly a melee tank of sorts with some good utility for sure. So far I think her kit works pretty well together apart from maybe her 4th, but still good enough. Some will hate her some will love her, let me know what you think.

I like Voruna even if her kit isn't perfect (almost none are anyways).

The only problem I have is that de didn't let us run on all 4 when it comes to her ultimate. 🤧🤧🤧

I love this character and its really fun. The only thing i wish was different about her is her 4th ability. Things i wish were different,
- Animation of her on all 4 legs while walking/sprinting
- Ignore armor and shields while doing her 4th ability pounces
- Gain movement speed while in her 4 similar to how her 1 works. Yes it stacks with her 1
- Fix the "bug" with her 4 passive. Currently if you equip it, then switch it before use, it puts it on the cooldown

I like her kit, she's fun to play but the whole only invisible if you don't attack thing kinda took me off guard. But she can self prime and has good energy and crit buffs. She's a strong choice, maybe not S tier frame but a solid A+ choice.

I'm not at the kind of level 90+ enemy activities but I'm still having plenty of fun with her kit. Just waiting to see what her augment mod(s) will be like

Literally my favorite thing in this game is the melee. I barley use the guns unless I need the extra damage from that one incredibly strong bow from the new war.

I’ve been having fun with her. I understand that her melee play style isn’t for everyone. I enjoy the melee combat in Warframe so this frame is definitely right up my alley! Nothing like slicing and dicing😏

Her kit feels loosely put together her abilities don’t flow together and it’s weird her 4th ability isn’t the best either which is rare

If the heads flew at the enemy you were using your 4 on before you jumped on that would be amazing since wolfs attack in packs and it would fit the description better

Missed the mark with me personally. I just see a dragon when looking at her. Think more focus was needed to push her more into her Wolf theme.

I'm melee centric so I definitely enjoy her play style. Her kit is pretty straight forward and fun for me. Plus I love her the way she looks. Did a great job with her design.

If DE had said that Voruna was just a new frame and not a wolf frame i wouldn't have batted an eye. That said, i love have swapped her 4 with fire blast for armor strip plus fire damage and i run the synth mods for marked damage to radiate outward with increased damage after her 2....if you get a viral stack with her 2 she can one shot lvl 150 heavy gunners (haven't tried it with higher level enemies) and i find that her signature melee works really well with her melee style.

I love using this frame, easy to use and it can be build for combo melee or heavy attack melee and since I’m a melee user main she is great for me. Now I build her with max max out range for her 2 and use brief respite making Varuna feel like Saryn.
Varuna 4 need to be buff and remake.
Needs more damage or something or
Needs to stay on all 4 and give her like an energy ephemera look when it’s like that
Or make it like and exalted form that last 2 sec more than her 1 that won’t break her 1 skill and just claw everything while she is on all4 with an energy ephemera wolf like, Varuna deserves a full wolf transformation

Try ensnare on her 4th and she’s goated did a 5hr sp mot run with that setup along with a condition overload redeemer prime

Her 4 can be easily tweaked. Her 4 does not proc her 2 or her 3. So I would:

-Proc her 3 for health and her 2 to help spread that status. Keep the synergy with her 1 and that's a compelling ability.

I find it unfortunate that her kit isn't as self contained/cohesive as it feels like it should be. Her two and four not being melee attacks is weird though I like that they don't take you out of invisibility. Having to recast after every attack is honestly annoying and while it encourages a different playstyle with hvy attacks, I feel it's not doing any favors for other playstyles.

I like weapon platforms and I like casters. It would've been ideal if she could be both, however it seems she leans towards the former side, so I guess I'm just disappointed.

And of course, her 4 needs a new animation. I feel like the devs already knew that people would be disappointed with her standing to run instead of being on all fours. Hope they change that in the future

I get the feeling most who dislike the shop and want it to be 100% rng are those who only care about being able to price them as high as possible in an attempt to get another item to squeeze people dry of plat with.

I quite like her. I only use her 1 for speed or escaping combat, her 2 is amazing to prime enemies, her 3 with equilibrium is a godsend, and her 4 looks cool on paper but I rarely use, especially since you can't even run on all fours like a real doggo. Nothing broken, nothing too bad, she's good but definitely not my new main (that still goes to Gauss and Saryn). Something uncontroversial to end the year off.

She’s cool cuz she’s new and pretty, but honestly there are other frames that work as well and aren’t so energy hungry and you don’t have to micromanage
