This video is the truth. I got a rowing Concept 2 rower at age 63. Started out at 5 minutes added 1 minute per week. Worked up to 50 minutes per day. Lost 40 pounds over the course of a year. Back to high school weight. Never went hard just smooth and steady. Also, improved my diet, though...Exercise alone won't get you there.

Wow . I will start right from today. I bought the machine few months ago and never used it. Will use it after 2 hours ( just had the breakfast, otherwise would have started right away ) . Loved the video ❤

I row because I can't do the walking or jogging as I have planter fasciatus, my feet hurt like hell the day after. So I bought a rowing machine to get the exercise in and not pound the soles of my feet.

While rowing is a good exercise, the same Watt output regardless of the exercise type burns the same amount of calories. That's just a fact. It's also a fact that weight loss is almost all about diet, 80 percent or more. All exercise is great, but if you want to lose weight, focus on what and the amount of your food.

My wife and I have just started working out and love the rowing machine. We currently do 15 minutes straight. I am 211 pounds and 46 years old. How many calories do I burn? I think it's more than the machine says. It says only 100, but I feel I burn more than that. We do it at a 9 resistance.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but all this can be achieved through incline walk, stair climber, elecptical, or even cycling innit? All of which are low impact (maybe stair master aside)

Im 63 tried other cardio and working machines and just kept gaining weight. 😒 Last was trying rowing. Which i do enjoy. Only problem is my trainer upped my calories to 2300 a day. I eat so much that I now hate food!

Who wants to be lighter when you exercise. It sounds nice but not everyone wants to lose weight. Or even hear that this exercise will make you lose weight. Not a good selling point.
