It should be the PARENT that's charged

Have you all forgotten we are talking about a 6 year old??? This behavior is learned at home...so why aren't the people who are responsible for this child not arrested!!!
Maybe if we held parents accountable for the acts of their children, we wouldn't have bullies, or anything like this! On the same token though some parents are POS and hurt their family and there's no helping them (the parents and not the children).

The parents should be charged with whatever the child would be charged with if he was an adult plus charges for child endangerment for not having the gun locked up. The child needs major counseling too. His teachers all said he was a problem before this incident. He knew he wasn't supposed to have the gun and why then got mad at the teacher so shot her. He might? not have known it could kill her, I think he did, he definitely knew it would at least hurt her bad. He should not ever be allowed in that school again. He should go to a school for troubled kids. I haven't heard anything about his Dad, where is he? The gun was the stepfathers who the Mom supposedly kept asking him to stop leaving it around. Horrible adults raising a terrible child. That disturbed child sounds like a product of his homelife.

The usual suspects get away with anything these days.

Well does this teacher have a husband, a father, a brother or a friend?

Obvious bs. EVERYONE KNOWS a 6yo can't be charged. He's deflecting from the real issue. The parents clearly did not secure the gun. Guess how we know that?
Interesting that the day the kid is armed, the parents don't show up to chaperone their kid.

I blame the school. They failed to provide adequate security for the students and staff. I don't wanna hear "we can't afford it" after $100, 000, 000, 000 to Ukraine.

It’s almost like having a killing machine at home with a child is a bad idea. I don’t care how well you have that thing locked up, kids can figure out a safe if they’re determined. If you have fast access to a gun, they very well have fast access. People can’t be trusted to even do the bare minimum to secure their weapons, and the Second Amendment crowd certainly won’t hold each other accountable.

What did the teacher say to the CHILD for the CHILD to bring a gun to school 🚸

Careful about arresting the parents. Hopefully nobody's child takes one of your steak knives to school and stabs someone. Because then they will come and arrest you. Complete the thought before making such bold statements.

Yeah he's 6, he actually still has a chance at rehabilitation. Unlike these monsters out here, he ACTUALLY can't grasp the gravity of his actions. Now those school officials on the other hand...

More guns is always the solution, all 1st graders should be carrying guns to prevent such an incident in the future! Freedom = firearms.
