The second of the seven chakras is the Sacral Chakra. It is located in the lumbar spine just below the navel, right in the middle of your lower belly and in your back, and is associated with the orange color and the water aspect. The genitals, lower back and abdominal are some of their associated body regions and organs.
The sacral chakra is the heart of thoughts, emotions and promotes enjoyment. It plays an active role in the development of our sexual needs and desires and in our sexuality.

An individual who has an imbalance, or under active sacral chakra, may have behaviors controlled by depression, detachment, indulgence, hostility, sensitivity, fear, anxiety, and poor limits. An imbalance of the sacral chakra may also be the effect of physical symptoms such as anemia, hypoglycemia, lower back pain, knee problems, low energy, spleen and kidney problems and premenstrual syndrome.
