In the UK a woman rightly filed a complaint against a man she worked with for stalking and harassment. Somehow he convinced the police that it was her who was doing the harassing and she received a police caution. He went on to break into her home, stab her to death then set her body on fire. Following this incident the law was changed so that as soon as a complaint of harassment, criminal damage or domestic violence is made by either party the police will come to the residence and remove the accused person with no evidence whatsoever. I found this out when my wife did exactly that to me. She came home drunk, we argued about her phone use and she threw her phone against the wall smashing it in the process. I went to sleep in the spare bedroom only to be woken three hours later with torches in my face by two policemen. They stood and watched as I dressed then escorted me out of the house I built with my own hands and into the cold night rain. I was told that I’d be arrested if I went back to the home and she called again. It turns out that she had put her SIM into another phone and spent three hours phoning her mum and friends making up a pack of lies. The following day I was allowed back into my house where she explained that she had only phoned to report our argument and that she mistakenly said I’d smashed the phone. At that point the police said they were coming whether she liked it or not and removed me. So I now live in a house I paid half for and built myself with a woman I cannot trust not to do this again only so I can be with my little boy. Fuck the law and fuck the police. My life is now ruined because they dropped the ball with the poor girl in Brighton. I literally hate the police.
