In Kashmir we have Kahwa which is water boiled with different spices like saffron and sugar. Very delicious and cures colds.

Also, we eat "cxat ras" with rice when sick, which is basically chicken cooked with no spices other than salt.

Here in the Philippines, we have "Arroz Caldo" basically its congee which is heavily infused with ginger and garnished with fried garlic, scallions, and a soft boild egg. It is regarded as a comfort food in Philippine culture and is usually given to someone who is sick or hangover but nonetheless it's a popular breakfast option in the Philippines

Well, in Mexican culture, whenever you are sick and you are congested really bad/ have a runny nose and or have a sore throat, we tend to drink some sort of tea with lemon and honey from a honey comb which seems simple but it works really well. It must be drunken hot to help with whatever issue you have. The most common one I use is Chamomile since it has worked for me since a little child and it has a soothing feeling!:)

In Korea, we have yujacha or a citron tea. The stuff itself looks like marmalade and it has bits of Korean citrus fruit and peel in it mixed with honey and sugar. Sometimes you can get some with ginger, bellflower root, ginseng, and even pomegranate in it! You disolve it in water, hot or cold. It soothes your throat better than a cough drop and clears your sinuses really well. And its super refreshing during the summer when you mix it with soda water and plum syrup!

In Vietnam we have this thing called “cháo”, it’s basically like porridge and congee, it’s made with rice. When you’re feeling sick, eating it will help you feel better and keep you warm (or something idk I am not an expert the dish)

Ginger ale or Sprite are the magic drinks for me. Whenever I was sick as a small child, one of those two would always be given.

I am from Southern part of India. In my culture we have a soup called "Miriyala Rasam", which translates to black pepper soup. This claims to cure most of the issues related to stomach, sinus, throat issues.

In Italy it's a simple pasta soup (minestra) made with chicken or vegetable plain broth, small shaped pasta and, when it's in the plate, you put on a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil along with a spinkle of parmigiano reggiano. It's believed to help the sick ones heal and recover faster

In Latvia, we blend pure honey and cranberries. It’s supposed to reduce swelling in the throat. I always have this when I’m sick and I’ve had it every time since I was little

Here in northern Finland we usually get sick around colder times of the year so any type of hot drink is good. A good hot cup of glögi (with a splash of something extra to clear the sinuses for adults) is the way to go for me, but different herbal or berry teas are pretty common. Kiisseli made from different berries is easy to eat with an upset stomach and vispipuuro (a porridge made with lingonberries) is delicious too
