His name was Hakuji, due to Muzan erasing his memory he couldn't remember his name, he remembered Koyuki his fiance but he didn't know what she looked like, until the battle between Tanjiro and Giyu. He then got his memory back and self destructed/killed himself and died. He then went to hell with his fiance getting reunited with her after over two hundred years
