Must’ve missed the part where the marketing team ran all the buzzwords through chatGPT LOL

Impressive MARKETING 👏👏👏 That's how you sell a RIDICULOUSLY PRICED bike. 😎

I recently saw the SL8 and in a shop, among the Aethos, the SL7 and one can be very impressed how simpler (in the noble sense of meaning) they looks like years by year - Aethos is a perfect example. Despite it looks like a "deja vu", it seems that this is the result of new iterations and researches, rendered even more efficient by the new generations of tools and expertise - all domain for such an industrial mass product, all combined in one model. Looking at the bikes becoming simpler, more and more free from superfluous elements when it comes to high performance, I tend to think that it is moving step by step, to the perfect shape, perfect characteristics. Of course, there are still lots of secrets that the public might not be able to access to, yet I like so much to look at the evolution of Specialized products.

All top road bikes have <1.0 CdA, it doesn't matter which one that u ride. Plus normal rider, it will be above 3.0 CdA. Mean the most important thing are rider aerodynamic & power.

Didnt help em win the world champs tho. Beaten by a canyon. Tho tbf MVDP could have rode a BMX and still won. Its all in the legs not the bike.

Real well done video blending marketing and technical detail beautifully. Specialized Tarmac engineering is really a couple of steps above everyone else starting with SL7. The proof is when you ride these frames.

Win on Sunday, sale on Monday! Oh wait, this isn’t a Canyon with realistic pricing, wrong channel. Go MVP!

$14k vs Ultimate CFR Disc Aero (6.54kg) which is currently on discount for $6.6k, give me a reason to spend 8k more :))))
Instead of paying for “aero”, how bout train more. Van der Poel is dominating on a not-so-aero bike

Guess the new Canyon CFR is both cheaper and faster - Remco couldn’t win world championship despite the sl8 😅

I live in the mountains of Colorado. While I love riding my ultrallight Cannondale Supersix Evo with rim brakes and aero carbon wheels on the flats, rim brakes are terrible in the mountains compared to the disk brakes on my SL8. The SL8 is solid and connected. It rides great especially in descents.

Send a frame to Hambini and let him do an exam and also see how well they hold all the BB and headset holes to spec after it’s been manufactured in China or wherever.

Reading comments here and there really shows, as long as there is no independent third party testing which includes power data, wind tunnel testing and frame cutting… any claims made by manufacturers remains as “ Hope” not “ Fact”.
Except for the weight of course.

The bigest problem nowadays with highend frames/bikes is that they cost a fortune, 10/15 years ago you could buy an amazing carbon frame and a pair of good weels and kit and pay 4000, 5000 euros, today a bike cost 12.000 to16.000 euros its crazy the amount of money you pay for the research of frames and weels, i have 6 bikes all rimm brakes and 1 vtt bike with disc brakes, one of the bikes is a tarmc sl4 and its an amazing good bike.

The Canyon price is too good so I ordered a Canyon ultimate with the new ultegra Di2 and 50mm DT swiss. Thanks Specialize, that was a nice pitch.

Fork split ring race recall in

Im a specialized fan. Ive ridden EVERY tarmac model since 2003. The disc brake ones are so sluggish feeling. This one will also be sluggish compared to the top tier rim brake tarmac versions. IYKYK.
