The driver's seat stayed in the "relaxation" position. That is why the seat won't go any lower. Hit the button dedicated for the relaxation mode until the seat will return back completely and the you will be able to lower the seat position.

It's not Korean Premium, that's Genesis. This is Korean Standard!

Just drove my Ioniq 6 (First Edition) to Rome from the Netherlands. I was amazed at the low consumption. I did around 140 km/h in Germany wherever I was allowed. Zwitserland I stuck to the speed limit and Italy I did around 135 km/h wherever possible. 1650km. Average consumption according to the car was 181 Wh/km which I found funny, because I charged a total of 299, 5kW. So if you do the maths that would be 181 Wh/km even with losses, but I left with 100% and arrived with 52% SOC.
I am curious what you can do on the 1000km challenge.

Styling wise, the Ioniq 6 looks WAY WAY better live than in pics and vid. My wife was a hater until she saw it live last week. Now she loves it. My son was on the fence . . . and now he's picking up his new Ionic 6 AWD Preferred on Tuesday.

6:59 Yeah agree with you that the Bose sound systems lack bass depth. Hyundai could have ask Bose to tune the audio properly during the car development stage

really good numbers for a winter drive!

Hey björn, I have a ioniq 5 and charging att tesla super chargers are limited to 42 kw and results in this all the time. I contacted tesla about this, they mentioned that this is a bug on the supercharger side and they have this on their roadmap for software update for q2 release.

I just see a lot of people blaming the e gmp cars for this and it is misinformation, which can be quite detrimental especially if you are a car journalist.

BTW I have received 150 kw on a 400v based charger with my ioniq 5!

I think it would be good for you to mention the limits of 400 v architecture on chargers with low amperage. (Saw your BMW ix video)

It's a shame that the Ioniq 6 doesn't come close to the very low values of the original Ioniq either. So it seems to be about on par with the "old" '21 Model 3 LR, but which is AWD. Of course, these are still very good consumption figures, but I was definitely hoping for more.

the regular side mirrors one is not 0.21, the one with digital mirrors is 0.21 so, almost but not the most efficient variant which would be the smaller base battery plus 18" rims (like these) and digital side mirrors. Or best variant rwd big battery 18 rims and digital mirrors which is my spec when I buy it this or Id.7(ioniq6 is smaller cargo but much nicer interior, faster charge and outside is also nicer for me)

Its actually 0, 22 with normal side mirrors and 0, 21 with the cameras.

Here in Austria near Slovenia are now diesel and benzin cheaper cca. 1l /1.44€ and electricity has gone up for 25%. Now it's cheaper to drive on combustion engine . So if I buy electric car that means more money for car and electricity on fast chargers, because I don't have ability to use my apartment electricity which is cheaper. For me is suitable only diesel because I drove only on autobahn to work and back. Gasoline or hybrid consume more on autobahn at 130km/h.

Love the 6, but still prefer the 5 overall!

Top! Dankeschön Björn für diesen Test. Im Sommer wird es eng für das m3 lr. Aber der Preis ist zu hoch für den I6.
Btw mein ioniq classic lädt bei Tesla mit bis zu 72kw. 😊

I wonder if people won't be a bit longer back when they are tall... that should leave more headroom and I bet the HUD system is fine as well...

Sound: It’s sounds like it lacks 80-100 Hz and like you said, the higher frequencies are bit high in level. Like maybe 3000 - 13000 Hz.
At least in my Genexxa GX 1000 living room speakers 🙂

Impressive numbers and an interesting test, as always! Temperature is an aspect with respect to capacity, and companies normally give capacity at battery temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius. If capacity is different from factory data, battery temperature from the OBD could also be relevant as an explanation. See (BU-502: Discharging at High and Low Temperatures): "Like humans, batteries function best at room temperature. Warming a dying battery in a mobile phone or flashlight in our jeans might provide additional runtime due to improved electrochemical reaction. This is likely also the reason why manufacturers prefer to specify batteries at a toasty 27°C (80°F). Operating a battery at elevated temperatures improves performance but prolonged exposure will shorten life...All batteries achieve optimum service life if used at 20°C (68°F) or slightly below. If, for example, a battery operates at 30°C (86°F) instead of a more moderate lower room temperature, the cycle life is reduced by 20 percent. At 40°C (104°F), the loss jumps to a whopping 40 percent, and if charged and discharged at 45°C (113°F), the cycle life is only half of what can be expected if used at 20°C (68°F). (See also BU-808: How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries)".

Hello what camera do you using to shot a video?

Should do a range test in reverse. This car would dominate with that ultra sloped rear.
