The faster way to do this is to plug in the table they give you.

Your linear regression equation will be the g(x) equation they give you

y1 ~ (mx1 + b)/(x1 +3)
m = 4, b = 36

I think something like this was on the June SAT, and I didn't have a lot of time, so I picked C and moved on to 22

Hey there, I was just wondering if it’s ok to use the slope method? Like the change in Y/change in X gives slope and then creating the linear function for f(x). I tired calculating in that way but couldn't find a solution. Why my method didn't work?

Hey there, was just wondering if it’s ok if I solve the questions normally instead of Desmos since I am more used to that

Can I know why this symbol "~" is used rather than the equal sign, unlike "y=mx+b"? Also, why numbering y1 and mx1? Could you please tell me briefly?

Appreciate it!
