Pro-C - Not Recognizing Correct Stations

If your Pro-C controller is not recognizing all of your stations in the "Set Station Run Times" or "Run Times" dial position, you may need to reset the station modules.

Note: The numbers represented in the "Program Start TImes" or "Start Times" dial position represent the cycles for that program NOT station numbers. Visit this link for more information on start times if necessary.

Here are the steps to reset the modules:

Step 1 Turn the dial to the RUN.

Step 2 Open front panel on controller.

Step 3 Slide the black bar in the center of the controller to the Power Off or Unlock position.

Step 4 Slide the upper station modules out to the right, and then back to the left position.

Step 5 Slide the black bar back to Power On or Locked Position.

Step 6 Press the RESET button on the backside of the controller door. Turn the dial to SET STATION RUN TIMES / RUNT TIMES and press the right arrow to see if controller recognizes all station modules installed on controller. The older PRO-C controller may require a paperclip to access the recessed reset button.

The controller should now recognize all installed station modules.

My Pro-C doesn't have a power button inside the control panel nor does anything slide left or right. Do I need to just press the reset button with a pin?

i reset my 12 station controller and it still only recognizes 4 stations on run mode .but when i enter how long on each station it sees them all, but always reverts back to only seeing 1234 stations instead of all 10 stations..do i need a new controller or what

Easy peezy....but I still have a problem. I can reset them, check that all zones are showing, but as soon as I begin programming...I'm back to just the first four zones showing. Could it be the other two modules have gone bad?

Once you reset, do you have to reprogram and set up the unit?

I tried this fix and it didn't work: my controller still only recognizes 3 of 12 stations. I also tried a full reset and that didn't work either. So, Hunter, do I need to buy a full new controller?

We have a controller that is stuck on station 38... And turning dial doesn't do anything. Please advise. Do we need to reset? Will that erase all programs?

I tried this and for a moment it detected all the stations but very quickly it reverted back to recognizing only 3 out of 9 stations. What is going on with the controller? I tried power reset and controller reset too but no luck.

Everything was fine for a day after following the directions and stop again. I even replaced the panel but no help. I don't know weather I need to replace the modules or the entire unit. The system is under warranty and no help from Hunter. Hunter warranty is a hassle. They always ask to go to a dealer and dealer never going to honor the warranty if you bought it from an online retailer. I bought it from Amazon two years back from Amazon and I cannot go back to Amazon for a warranty replacement. Sent multiple emails to Hunter and no help. Hunter website is not showing any phone number to contact.
