What kills me with the statement “you shouldn’t pop your pimples” is if you go to a dermatologist, many will pop the pimples!

I went into the ER one time cuz I had an extremely bad pimple that grew to the size of my thumbnail. The doctor said that if I wanted to keep down pimples that the well-known treatment is to just wash your face when you're in the shower and avoid scrubbing if you can. Ever since I washed my face in the shower since I was 15 I haven't had a single pimple on my face since. That tiny little bit of acne here and there but nothing super serious like I had before my my face was covered.

I've had pimples that were very red and sore, after popping the swelling goes down very quickly even in minutes and disappear in days, blind spots are different though, the may or may not pop so its more risky .
