How much different is this than the 5-series GT jacked-up hatchback? I'm looking for a large hatchback--like a modern day Saab 9000 or Merkur Scorpio, but a class-size larger.

That "character crease" above the rear wheel arch is as mal placed as it was when it appeared above the rear wheel arch of the recent Mercedes Benz E-class. Mercedes ironed it out at their mid-cycle refresh and I suspect BMW will have to do the same.

Pass...This was assembled in South Carolina.I highly doubt this will be a RELIABLE vehicle.

The X4 looks better, but just like the X6, the BMW X4  isn't as practical as the X3 just as the X6 isn't as practical as the X5 or even the 5-Series GT in their respective classes.

Front end kind of looks like original x3. Overall just a very uninspired vehicle.
