I do 4 sets of 26 - 35 reps. Been doing it like that for years! People use to always say that I'm doing way too many reps.

Thanks to a lot of John’s insight I’ve been able to blow my shoulders up the last month and change. To the point where people comment on them more than everything else. They used to lag so badly, but the high reps and using different angles are a game changer 🙏🏽

Six sets 3 times a week. That gives 18 sets of volume for lateral raises. Pyramid up in weight, then go back down to the weight you started with. The lower weights will be 25 reps and the higher being roughly 15 reps.
Ex: 8-10-12-12-10-8 pounds. If it’s easy.. slow down and use negatives and at the end of sets use holds. When you can get 25 reps in all sets, do 10-17-20-20-17-10 pounds.
Does not have to be heavy weight. Lactic acid burn triggers muscle growth in shoulders. work through the burn with rest pause.

My 2 meadow inspired RD movements:

3x15-20 reversed pec dec with an extra burnout set. Go 20lbs heavier and do partials to failure, then straight away go down the entire stack.

The other is a DB RD fly 4x10-20. Each set is a mechanical drop set aka partials. The movement is fluid but ever so slightly controlled the entire time.

For me week With high reps and week heavy weight and reps between 8.10

There body builders what say don’t go over 12 reps I think it’s different for every one. As long as you contract you muscle and go to failure you be alright

I got my shoulder bigger including my rare delt.. the exercise I do its the rare delt Flys by using plates holding in my fingers
