I totally agree with you, if the company your are working for it’s not willing to pay.. there is no way you can get one of this certification’s.. 8, 500$ it’s an astronomical and unbelievable price, and you should also consider your prices depending on the country… because an average salary in USA it’s not the same average salary in Romania, Cambodia… or other countries around the world. It’s unacceptable to pay 8, 500 $ for one certification as an individual. 😠

Very exclusive, SANS. They only accept people with either tons of discretionary income, or people with rich and generous employers.

And they certainly don't want their degree programs sullied by the sorts of low people who might require federal financial aid.

Eye-wateringly expensive.

SANS COURSES ARE GOOD ONLY IF YOUR COMPANY IS PAYING, OTHERWISE ALL COURSES HAVE VERY LOW VALUE IN-TERMS OF PRICE TO COURSE VALUE, AND IT WILL NOT HELP YOU FIND JOB EASIER THAN OTHER CERTS
