In Indonesia, we also have a creature similar to the one in Philippines. It's commonly known as “Kuyang”. It's basically just a woman's head with organs hanging down. Kuyang preys on pregnant women, too. They steal their babies. Locals believe that Kuyang is an ordinary woman during the day who practices black magic. At night, the head will separate itself and fly around looking for a prey. They have various names here, and “Kuyang” is the term they use in Kalimantan.

In Philippines, vampires are like aswang not manananggal. Aswang does not only drink blood but also eat flesh. They are said to be beautiful with a beautiful dark hair and even shapeshifts into different animals or commonly known in the Visayas Region as "Tigbaliw".

In South India, typically Tamil Nadu you still hear tales of these blood sucking trees around the Kollimalai mountain. Idk been there twice but many parts are so dense they you cant sneak in without getting lost. However the mountain itself home for many various rare medicinal plants. So the locals and governments still protects it's beauty.
