I have an “am I an INTP?” identity crisis a few times a year. Occasionally I feel (haha “feel”) like an ENFP and almost always understand the INTJ sometimes way too close for comfort — but those don’t give me the “???!???” like the INTP. Guess it makes sense. I do come back to the most accurate being an ENTP even as my lifestyle is prob indistinguishable from an INTP 90% of the time.

Shit I think I’m an ENTP.
I’ve been mistyping myself as an ENTP for years ig.
I always thought because a lot of stuff happened internally, I was an INTP, but I also have a strong tendency to like bouncing ideas off of others and I’m a lot more extroverted than a stereotypical I.
My issue is that while I love talking, bouncing ideas, and taking in large amounts of info, I’m pretty introspective and my social skills suck, so I always thought I was an I.

An ENTP I've known since elementary school (40+ years) can't figure out he's an ENTP. He's bounced all over the place in his self-assessment, usually between ENFP and INTJ. I just try to keep my pain internalized and nod and smile politely when he tells me his latest epiphany regarding his MBTI profile. I think it's largely due to the endless possibilities his Ne produces. He has trouble separating the "is" from the endless "what ifs?" running through his mind. -- INTP

It can be easy to mistype us as INTJ when we're in the hyperfocus stage of our cycle, displaying the insatiable drive and work ethic that xNTJs are famous for. It's probably when we're manic and bored and vomiting ideas all over the place and being pretty friendly about it all that we mistype as ENFP.

(Side note, if you don't have an ENFP in your life, GET ONE - they're the best little flower children in the world.)
